The project is the extension of the ground floor of a house towards its garden to create a larger common living space for a large family.
The house, raised from the ground about 1m, had to regain easy access to the garden.
The extension 3 steps lower than the ground floor creates a bright and pleasant space largely open on the outdoor.
The difference in height between the original house and the new living rooms is used to give a view of the garden from a study where the children can do their homework without being locked out of family life.
The lenght of the steps is used as a bookshelf.
