This is the total rehabilitation of an old house overlooking a large garden in the heart of the city.
It is half of an old farmhouse divided through successive inheritances.
The property comprises a main house of two levels + attic and an independent building with a ground floor + attic.
The project is a total remodeling of the three apartments (one per level) that hosts the house and the transformation of the coach house as a passage and a large office in the attic for the ground floor apartment which benefits from the garden.
Each apartment has its own charm that we wanted to highlight.
The ground floor apartment benefits from a large south-facing garden and beautiful openings onto the terrace.
The first floor apartment has a beautiful terrace with a majestic wisteria, old parquet floors and beautiful fireplaces.
The attic apartment opens up to the sky and takes advantage of the old oak roof beams to gain height and charm.
The retauration of the old wooden floors, the enhancement of the large French windows, the opening of the kitchens to the living areas, the reorganization of the rooms according to the views and natural light are the keys that enabled us to create contemporary apartments in a historic and preserved setting.
